Lightmed’s TruScan is a surgery system for eye retina surgeries, which integrates a scanner and a laser device.
Taga UX has designed the control panel for the TruScan. The main challenge was to make an interface which can be operated while the doctor is focused on patient’s eyes, through the lenses. The system has large icons, on a dark background, to adapt to the specific surgery conditions.
The interface is responsive and can work on different sizes of screens and devices, as well as on landscape vs. profile views.
